UNDERSTANDING PEOPLE

Shooting portraits is one of the most challenging and yet one of the most excting genres of photography. To create a great portrait, among other things, you need to understand your subject and the purpose of the photograph. It requires quite a bit of psychology to encourage your model to open up and trust you, so you can take the best portrait possible. During the workshop you will learn all the tools and tricks to take portraits, so that the person in the picture will love the results and enjoy the experience.

MASTERING LIGHT

We will also pay particular attention to working with light in all situations: full studio setups / minimal equipment in small spaces / using only natural light etc. We will cover all posibilities you might face while taking portraits. To make sure you get the most educational value from the Masterclass, each day will cover a short theoretical part and extensive hands-on experience, where you will learn the best setups for each situation.

EXPLORING THE VERSATILITY

Since it is also important to understand the differences between people in front of your camera, we will be working with 6 different models in 4 different locations. This will allow you to practice how to adapt each setup to different people and different genres.
